Jill has been with Agropur Ingredients (formerly Main Street Ingredients) for 17 years and has worked in the dairy research and development industry for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate degree at St. Olaf College (BA Biology/Chemistry – Double Major) and her graduate degree at University of Wisconsin – Madison (MS Food Science). She furthered her experience at University of Vermont, focusing on research regarding Mozzarella and its functionality in dairy science. As Director of Research and Development, she manages research projects regarding health and wellness, sports nutrition, product development and much more. She enjoys leading and mentoring her team.
Outside of work Jill enjoys various activities including cross country skiing (she is a PSIA certified ski instructor), kayaking/canoeing, hiking/camping, organic gardening, and woodworking.
Reneck Cayen joined Agropur Ingredients (formerly Main Street Ingredients) in 2012. He graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a BS in Food Science, and then went on to receive his MBA in International Business from the HEC Business School. He started as an Ingredients Sales manager at Agropur in Montreal, Canada, where he managed all Canadian dairy ingredients domestic sales. From there, Reneck was promoted to Sales Direction of Functional Products, where he was responsible for all ingredients, domestic and export sales, and domestic industrial cheese sales. Most recently he was promoted to the Vice President of Business Unit – Ingredients. Reneck enjoys spending time with his wife and two twin boys.
Mike Homewood joined Agropur Ingredients (formerly Main Street Ingredients) in 2001 as a new Winona State University business administration graduate. Mike’s first role in the company was in the Food Ingredient group selling dairy commodities. Over time, Mike developed key strategies in the contract manufacturing and branded ingredients group. Now, as Vice President of Ingredient Sales, Mike is responsible for overseeing sales coordination and leading the success and expansion of the ingredient distribution and branded ingredients divisions. He is an active participant in both day to day selling and long-term strategic efforts. Mike is married and enjoys outdoor activities, bowling, playing golf, coaching baseball and hunting.
Christina Grossklaus joined the Agropur Ingredients (formerly Main Street Ingredients) team in 2012. Christina earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Christina has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and specializes in Leadership Training, Coaching Supervisors and Managers, Employee Relations and Safety. Now, as Human Capital Director, Christina is responsible for directing the efforts of the human resources department with regards to strategic direction of the organization. She is also responsible for recommending and administering personnel systems that promote a high level of staff morale and produce a good return on the organization’s investment in human resources. Christina is married and enjoys spending time with her children, camping, attending outdoor concerts and hanging out with friends and family.
Shawn Wegner joined Agropur Ingredients (formerly Main Street Ingredients) in 2008 as Plant Manager with 17 years of previous food manufacturing experience. Shawn received his bachelor’s degree in food science from The University of Illinois and his MBA from Marquette University. As Vice President of Engineering and Quality, Shawn works closely with his Facility, Regulation and Quality teams to improve our systems and processes to deliver more value to our customers. Shawn is married with 2 children and enjoys spending time with his family, youth sports, hunting and fishing.
Jeff Byrant joined Agropur Ingredients as Controller in 2012. Equipped with an extensive background in the finance industry, he has worked with esteemed local businesses such as Alliant Techsystems and Chart Heat Industries. Having grown the operation size of his former corporations with minimal additional overhead, Jeff brought to us the experience and know-how necessary to achieve financial success. As an instrumental part of our management team Jeff hopes to implement fiscally-based programs that benefit both Agropur’s corporate strength as well as the well-being of our employees and the community.
Rudy’s involvement in the food industry dates back to 1976, the year he started his first job out of school at Quillins Bakery. In 1979, he took a big leap into the world of food ingredients and processing; first with Ridgeview Industries (which would later become DMV) and then as a partner in the start-up of Century Foods International.
In 2000 Rudy came to work with Dave Clark, the Founder of Main Street Ingredients, after he acquired DMV and their plant at 2340 Enterprise Ave. As a partner from 2000-2010, Rudy and the ownership team built what is now a 10 process line operation that was purchased by Agropur in December of 2010.
Rudy is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
