Peggy Ponce is a Senior Scientist on the Protein Applications Research team. In this role, she leads strategic technical activities and provides technical support for the Sales team by providing Customer education and training, with an emphasis in the Latin-American Market. In prior roles, she worked in dairy protein ingredient development, applications, and in Academia. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering at University San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), and her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Food Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In her free time, Peggy loves spending time and traveling locally and internationally with her husband and her perfect son. She also enjoys hiking and playing soccer every time there is an opportunity.
Born and raised in Ecuador, Peggy is actively involved in social and cultural activities with the Ecuadorian and Latin-American communities in Minnesota, developing strategies to empower them and help them realize their full potential.
